Michael McDowell has nine Sprint Cup Series starts at Richmond International Raceway with a best start of 19th and a best finish of 20th. McDowell has five career starts at RIR in the Xfinity Series, earning his best series results in his first race there in 2009 with an eighth place finish after starting the race in 22nd position.
